Philly native and Pittsburgh transplant Living Proofe announced that he will be releasing his new mixtape Grown Man Travelin on August 31st. We asked him a few questions about it:

RPHH: Why did you chose the name Grown Man Travelin?

Living Proofe: It is all about what I have become.  Grown Man Travelin is a testimony to myself that others may be able to relate to.

RPHH: Does the mixtape feature original production or industry beats?

LP: All original production, mostly by my homie Chin Chilla (formerly of TRIBE, LLC – now with Quik Hitz) and a couple guest producers. One of them who is only 16, he is a beast though.

RPHH: What is your favorite cut off the mixtape?

LP: My favorite?  That’s a hard one.  I would probably have to say the title track, because its the biggest stretch and it brought the most out of me.

RPHH: Shout your people out.

LP: Just everybody who has been rockin with me and the team.  Shout out to Classic 1824, Chin Chilla, W. Feagins Jr. (High Impact Designs) – and those I chose to collab with for staying on me when I was slacking (ha!).  And a special shout out to reppghhiphop for staying consistent and holding a lot of local artists down – that’s real.

This is my project to finally do me – I’m always for the people and it’s always reflected in my music, but this is a chance for people to get to know me a little more – and there will be more to come. -Living Proofe
