Connect is a rapper and beat maker who combines with his comrades, DJ Blacklisted and Moemaw Naedon, to form the Pittsburgh based Hip-Hop trio known as Fortified PhonetX aka FPX. With two releases under his belt thus far, Arrival Tactics EP (April 2011) and Remix Tactic (October 2011), Connect is working diligently with the FPX team to release their debut album, The Plastic Eaters. Which is scheduled for a September 2012 release. Once a member of MythConn and now FPX he has had the privilege of sharing the stage with many local and national artists. Such as, Doomtree, Prolyphic, Atherton, MC Homeless, Steddy P., United States of Mind, Prhym8 and many more. Connect and his counterparts take pride in delivering Hip-Hop comprised of raw beats and witty, down-to-earth, thought-provoking lyrics. Blending these characteristics with a heavy Golden-Era plus late 90′s-early 2000′s indie movement influence to help portray their “brand” of the genre while attempting to positively contribute to what Hip-Hop becomes in the future.
